Sharjah 24 – KUNA: Israeli troops on Saturday shot dead a second Palestinian in a widescale military operation in Jenin in the West Bank, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.
Wafa said Ahmad Daraghme, a resident of Tobas, died after he was shot and wounded in the head in clashes with the Israeli troops that burst into Jenin town and the nearby camp.
Earlier today, the Ministry of Health reported that Mahmoud Al-Sous was wounded in the neck during the attack and he succumbed to his injuries later, adding that 11 others were wounded in various spots of their bodies.
The Israeli troops carried out the raid to try arrest the activist Saleh Zainah, however in their bid they engaged in clashes with activists.
Local media reported that Israeli troops took positions at vantage points atop buildings, prevented journalists and medics from reaching the scene, amid overflights by Israeli gunship helicopters.
