Abdullah Al Owais inaugurates “Optical elevation” exhibition

Sharjah24: His Excellency Abdullah Al Owais, Chairman of the Department of Culture in Sharjah, and Muhammad Ibrahim Al Qasir, Director of the Cultural Affairs Department and Director of the Sharjah Calligraphy Forum, inaugurated the “Optical elevation” exhibition, in cooperation with the Emirates Photographic Society, at the House of Wisdom.
The inauguration came as part of the activities of the tenth session of the Forum, which is being held under the slogan "Irtiqa", in the presence of the Society's Secretary, Muhammad Al-Hashemi, a large number of artists, media professionals and photography lovers.

The exhibition presents a group of graphic works that reflect the creativity of Arabic calligraphy on the one hand, while depicting, on the other hand, other vital topics, presented by the lenses of creative photographers who carry a creative artistic message.

The works of the exhibition “Irtiqa” touch on the unseen details of daily life from the creative perspective of the photographer, so that the viewer is able to rise visually and spiritually towards a hidden side of life.

The exhibition includes pictures of the international artist Sami Al-Olabi, the photographer of stars and galaxies and  Omar Ali Al Marzouki who took us on a tour of the Emirate of Sharjah, highlighting its aesthetics and charming lights

Also participating in the exhibition, which carries other works between conceptual and abstract, to give perspective, dimension and a new optical composition, including : Fatima Saeed Al-Harthy, Uday Shanshal, Ahmed Youssef Al Ali, Dr. Wissam Mamdouh, Shaima Hosni Abdel Hamid, Dania Istitieh, and Siham Mohamed Ibrahim, Wael Onsi, Abeer Al-Hamdani, Samah Nidal Al-Khuffash, Aisha Saeed Al-Shehhi, and Nawir Mahdi Al-Hajri.
