Sharjah24: The Mughaidir Suburb Council (MSC) in Sharjah, affiliated with the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs in the Government of Sharjah, chose Nasser Muhammad Ashour as chairman of the Suburb Council, and Ibrahim Al-Askar as Vice-Chairman.
The Suburb Council meeting follows the issuance of Emiri Decree No. 55 of 2022 issued by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to form the Mughaidir District Council in Sharjah.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, head of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs, in addition to the presence of council members Ahmed Hassan Ahmed Al Ramsi Al Tunaiji, Khalifa Saeed Khalifa Al Ali, Sultan Ibrahim Askar Ismail Al Askar, Amer Mohamed Ahmed Ali Al Zarooni, Mohamed Ali Mohamed Hamad Al Nazar and Marwan Mohamed Ahmed Nour Al-Mazmi and Nasser Muhammad Saeed bin Ashour and from the department attended Abdullah Suleiman Al-Kabouri, Director of Councils Affairs, and Omar Obaid Al-Tunaji, Head of Councils Activities Department.
For his part, Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Head of the Suburbs and Villages Affairs Department, congratulated the Mughaidir Suburb Council on its re-formation and selection of the President and Vice-Chairman, pointing out that the Suburbs and Villages Affairs Department will work to continue developing the activities of the suburbs and providing them with support in order to achieve the visions of the Ruler of Sharjah in the service of the emirate.
