Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Ruler's Office in Khorfakkan, attended the celebration held by the Student Parents Council in the city on the occasion of World Teachers' Day under the slogan "Thank you, the Messenger of Science".
Sami Al Naqbi, stated in a declaration to Sharjah 24, that the ceremony was attended by a crowd of officials, including His Excellency Khamis Al Suwaidi, Advisor in the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah; His Excellency Dr. Rashid Khamis Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Khorfakkan City; and a group of directors of government departments and workers in the education sector.
Al Naqbi stressed that celebrating the great teachers comes in appreciation of their efforts in raising generations , and to confirm and consolidate the unique value of the teacher in the Emirate of Science and Culture.
