Sharjah24: His Excellency Ali Mehd Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), praised the efforts of the General Secretariat of the Council, headed by the Secretary-General of the Council, in working as an integrated team to rehabilitate the Consultative Council building and prepare it to obtain the title of an Age-friendly institution.
Al Suwaidi was keen during his meeting this afternoon with all the employees of the General Secretariat of the Council at the Council’s headquarters, to praise their efforts and their continuous work to meet all the conditions and criteria for accrediting the Consultative Council building within the Age-friendly institutions, in accordance with its engineering requirements and service standards.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan, Secretary-General of the Council, the directors of the Council’s departments in the General Secretariat and all employees. Al Suwaidi congratulated on this achievement in the context of the Council’s keenness on its contribution and support to the directions of the Emirate of Sharjah by working to create a comprehensive sustainable physical, health, social, economic and urban environment that allows the elderly easily utilize its resources for effective healthy.
His Excellency Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan, Secretary-General of the Council, praised the directives of the Chairman of the Council to achieve this achievement and the endeavour of all the Council’s departments, led by the Department of Strategic Planning and Institutional Development and the General Services Department.
