Sharjah 24: The Family Forum Centre of the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) stated that the number of services provided by the Family Sessions Department since the beginning of 2022 until now has reached about 1105 services.

The services are divided into several types that deal with the seeing children in the centre, or taking them for several hours, or spending the night for a specific period of time, or taking children out of the centre. 

Fayza Khabab, Director of the Family Forum Centre, clarified that the service of seeing children in the centre has decreased a lot, and there are only a few cases that need follow-up and consultations, adding that many beneficiaries prefer taking children out of the centre, which this year numbered 416 services.

She stressed that the impact of the parents bearing the responsibility of their children and finding solutions to their problems, improve the psychology of children as they cooperate with each other towards building a good life for their children.
