Sharjah24: The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) reported that it had paid tuition fees of nearly 5 million dirhams for the 2022/2023 academic year, benefiting 773 orphan students affiliated with the Foundation in the city of Sharjah and its affiliated areas.
This educational support is directed to orphans who are financially unable to pay their tuition fees, and they are also among the needy families who are unable to provide sufficient income for their family members.
Prior to the start of the current academic year, the Foundation began receiving applications for registration of orphaned students wishing to obtain tuition fees assistance, whether school or university, and working to determine their financial needs to implement support campaigns to collect the required amount.
Mona bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Foundation, said: “At the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, we realize the importance of supporting education and taking care of all the educational requirements of orphans.
