Sharjah24 : On Wednesday, a delegation from the University of Sharjah comprising Dr. Amina Al Marzouqi, Assistant Chancellor for Branches Affairs, Dr. Ali Obaid Al Zaabi, Deputy Assistant Chancellor of the University, and several engineers from the Department of Public Works and project implementation supervisors, inspected the construction works of the Kalba University project.
According to statements made by Al-Marzouqi to Sharjah 24, the percentage of work completed is in line with the specific time plan, and the opening of Kalba University is to take place in September of next year 2023, in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler,of Sharjah.
She also explained that the university is considered an important addition to the higher education system in the UAE, based on the philosophy of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and his strategy to expand the establishment of scientific and cultural organizations. This year, His Highness inaugurated Khor Fakkan University, to be followed by Kalba University next year, and Al Dhaid University in 2024.
