Sharjah24: The 1st edition of "Al Asayl Exhibition 2022", the ideal gathering location for horse, camel, and gaming bird owners, breeders, stables, clubs, vets, professional and amateur riders, will kick off Thursday (8 Sep) at Expo Al Dhaid.
Organised by the Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the show will bring together more than 25 companies and renowned equestrian and falconry brands, in addition to a number of relevant public clubs and associations.
The three-day exhibition, which runs until September 10, will be the "place-to-be" for enthusiasts and professionals with the most relevance and the highest reach within the industry.
It will showcase the most prominent products for taking care of horses and camels, such as stable equipment, sports equipment, supplements, fodder, animal transportation and relocation, as well as breeding farms.
The exhibition, which takes place at the same time as the falconer season, offers falconers an ideal opportunity to learn about the latest methods and supplies for falcon care as well as the equipment they use to practice their preferred activity, which is regarded as one of the most significant traditional sports.
The event is also set to support traditional sports through a series of activities and educational workshops clarifying ways of taking care of horses, camels, and falcons, as well as the types of diseases that affect them and the appropriate treatments. Additionally, a group of veterinarians will host a workshop on artificial insemination and animal breeding improvements.
While hunting and equestrian clubs and associations will display the best equipment for animal breeding, nutrition, and care, the exhibition will provide horse, camel, and falcon owners and breeders with an opportunity to communicate closely with companies specializing in this field.
In addition to exhibiting their products in front of a sizable crowd of guests and interested individuals and introducing visitors to the newest equestrian, falconry, and breeding techniques, the fair will also help owners and breeders exchange knowledge, learn about the latest developments in these sports, and purchase modern equipment for taking care of purebred animals.
The exhibition will be open to the public on Thursday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., while on Friday, it will be open from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
