The meeting dealt with the role of the Parents Council in the central region in continuing to present initiatives, educational activities and various activities that would stimulate the educational field to creativity.
This came during the council's first meeting in the current academic year, which was held at the council's headquarters in Al Dhaid, headed by Rashid Abdullah Al-Mahyan, the council's chairman, and in the presence of council members.
Rashid Abdullah Al-Mahyan, Chairman of the Council, welcomed the members and congratulated the leadership and people of the Emirates on the start of the school year.
Al-Muhayyan praised the vital role and good efforts made by the Ministry of Education to advance the educational process, as it is the mainstay for the renaissance and development of society.
Council discussed ways to develop the educational process on several topics, such as receiving teachers and parents and honor the distinguished among them. The council approved a schedule of visits to schools in the central region, and approved to celebrate Teacher's Day and the Day of the Elderly.
