Sharjah24: Under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, the university will host the global conference of “The Network: Towards Unity For Health TUFH 2023” organization, from 23 to 26 Oct, 2023, themed: “Beyond Boundaries: Health Equity through a Culture of Learning”, as announced by the organization through its current conference held this year in Vancouver, Canada from 16 to 19 August.
His Excellency, Prof. Hamid M.K. Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah and Chairman of the Higher Committee of the conference stressed that cooperation with prestigious scientific and research institutes is an opportunity to exchange opinions and ideas in various scientific fields, which will reflect positively on the university’s research production which aims to serve and develop the society.
The Chancellor also stated that TUFH is an international, intersectoral, and intergenerational organization, established 40 years ago, where it fosters equitable community-oriented health services, education and research, intending to improve health locally and globally, as well as convene innovative healthcare organizations, universities, community institutions, and thought leaders from all over the world, pointing out that the university aspires through this conference, to be a scientific and research forum for scientists in the health field from all around the world, to come up with recommendations that promote health and healthcare services at the international level.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Mohamed Hassan Taha, Chairperson of the Organizing Committee of the conference have participated in the conference’s activities of this year in Vancouver, where he briefly introduced the University of Sharjah and how it is preparing to host the conference, highlighting the university’s Medical Campus that is capable of hosting global conferences in various fields.
