Sharjah 24: In line with the celebration of Emirati Women's Day, the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) is participating in the 11th edition of "electricity and water conservation" workshop in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Organised by the Saudi Ministry of Energy and the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council during the period from 30 to 30 August 31, the workshop will see the participation of engineers from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. Several topics  will be addressed at the workshop including methodologies and plans for rationalisation.

The council is represented in the workshop by Engineer Asmaa Ayoub Al Balushi, Head of the Sports Facilities Follow-up Department, and Engineer Mona Obaid Al Shamsi, Head of the Design Division at the Sports Facilities Follow-up Department. The participation is part of the council's initiatives to stress the importance of rationalisation in the sports sector and spread a culture of awareness of the importance of water and electricity.

Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, highlighted the important role of Emirati women in various fields, reiterating their achievements in the country’s march of development and their contribution to the various areas locally and globally.
