Sharjah24: As part of the country’s great preparations to celebrate Emirati Women’s Day, which falls 28 August, and under the slogan (Inspiring Reality, Sustainable Future), Sharjah Radio presents, within its programmes to celebrate the occasion, a special radio programme that includes many paragraphs that highlight the great, pioneering and inspiring role of Emirati women in the march of construction, progress and giving in the state, in various fields and sectors.
The programme is broadcast live, and reviews the role of Emirati women in the development and construction of the United Arab Emirates since the establishment of the Federation until the present.
A group of women’s events, including leaders from various local, Gulf and Arab institutions, in addition to brilliant names in various creative fields, including literature, poetry, arts, culture and sports, participate in the programme’s interventions. A group of pioneering women who made exceptional efforts until they became an inspiring symbol for generations in Giving and Excellence.
The aforementioned ceremonial programme will be presented on Sharjah Radio by the two media persons, Aisha Al-Hamoudi and Jamal Al-Sumaiti, on this day between 5-6 pm, and will include many entertainment segments and valuable prizes.
