UAE reports 660 COVID-19 cases, 689 recoveries, no deaths

Sharjah24 - WAM:The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) said that it had done 213,603 more COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours using cutting-edge medical testing equipment.

In a statement, the Ministry said that it plans to keep widening the range of testing across the country so that coronavirus cases can be found and treated faster.

As part of its increased testing campaign, MoHAP said there were 660 new coronavirus cases. This brings the total number of cases in the UAE to 1,009,776.

The Ministry says that the infected people are from different countries, are in good health, and are getting the care they need.

The Ministry says that no one has died from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of deaths in the country to 2,341.

MoHAP also said that 689 more people had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of full recoveries to 988,147.
