Sharjah 24 – WAM: The United Arab Emirates has carried out its 68th humanitarian airdrop under Operation Birds of Goodness, part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. This mission was conducted in cooperation with Jordan and with the support of Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, and France.

Air and land aid deliveries provide essential support

The operation delivered vital food supplies to Gaza, coordinated with several charitable organizations in the UAE. In addition to the airdrop, 20 trucks carrying 540 tonnes of food entered Gaza through land crossings, reinforcing ongoing efforts to ensure secure and sustained relief delivery.

Total humanitarian aid surpasses 3,900 tonnes

With this latest operation, the total volume of aid delivered by air has exceeded 3,908 tonnes, comprising food and other essential items. This highlights the UAE’s consistent commitment to supporting Palestinians in Gaza and bolstering their resilience amid dire conditions.

These efforts underscore the UAE’s leadership in global humanitarian assistance, showcasing strong collaboration with regional and international partners. Through coordinated action and continued generosity, the UAE aims to alleviate suffering and support recovery in crisis-affected areas.
