Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police General Command, in cooperation with the Sharjah Police Academy, continues to receive entries for the Future Readiness Award, which was launched at the beginning of August, under the generous patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council.
The registration will remain open with the receipt of full studies until December 31 of the current year 2022.
The “Future Readiness” award aimed to open the opportunity for researchers, research units, and future foresight centers and institutions to participate by presenting a vision for the future of security work in the UAE in accordance with modern foresight standards and mechanisms, to ensure the development of possible scenarios that can be applied to mechanisms to confront crimes, phenomena and future security challenges.
Lt. Col. Dr. Abdullah Muhammad Al Hayyi, Secretary-General of the Future Readiness Award, confirmed that the award includes two main categories, represented in the category of future foresight institutions, research centers and universities inside and outside the country, and the financial prizes for the first centers are estimated at $50,000.
