Sharjah 24: A qualitative leap has been achieved within the summer events, organised by Sharjah Youth of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, as part of its workshops aimed at empowering young people and supporting them in the journey of discovering and investing their abilities by participating in a set of programmes designed according to their needs and interests.
The 3D animation workshop succeeded in attracting young people participating in the Skills Lab through Youth Studio in teaching them the skill and art of producing animated cartoon films.

Over the course of fifteen hours of training, implemented within the workshop programme, which was presented at the headquarters of the Sharjah Youth Centre, the participants mastered dealing with the aspects of animation based on stories that were compatible with their creativity and imagination.

The workshop, with its first hours, began to offer an enrichment programme in the field of 3D design and printing, which was based on communicating the basics of engineering design to students and teaching them how to use the 3D printer.

According to the training plan, the youth received an introduction to 3D design and a CAD program based on 3D modeling, in addition to an introduction to the Fusion 360 program, with learning the basic tools of 3D design, and they learned about 3D printing and how it works, as well as how to operate 3D printers.
