Sharjah 24: The Arab Parliament for the Child (APC), in collaboration with the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club ( SERC), held a horse-riding training session for its members , Arab guests of Sharjah as part of a sports and entertainment programme.

The sports programme seeks to give young parliamentarians the opportunity to participate in advanced sports and introduce them to the club, which is affiliated with the Sharjah Sports Council.
 
The youngsters visited the Equestrian and Racing Club to learn about its stables, training programmes, and contests, and then they were trained to ride horses under the supervision of club officials.
 
Mr. Ayman Othman Al-Barout, Secretary-General of the Arab Parliament for Children, emphasised the importance of collaboration with a variety of institutions, including the sports sector, which holds a prominent place in the Emirate of Sharjah due to the role of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
