Sharjah24: As of today, Friday, July 22nd, delegations of children from 17 Arab countries will arrive to participate in the work of the fourth/final hearing of the second session of the Arab Parliament for the Child (APC).
The programme, which includes training workshops and visits, runs through July 30th and culminates with the holding of the Arab League's parliamentary hearing under the Arab League's umbrella.
Ayman Othman Al Barout, the Secretary-General of the Arab Parliament for the Child, welcomed the delegations to the Emirate of Sharjah and explained that the 4th session will see the participation of four Arab countries, Mauritania, Libya, the Sultanate of Oman, and Lebanon, in the parliament's sessions for the first time "face to-face" since its establishment in 2019.
