SP’s Forensic Lab receives a delegation from SM’s Laboratory

Sharjah24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, met a delegation from the Central Laboratories Department of Sharjah Municipality (SM), headed by Sheikha Najla Ali Al Mualla, Director of the Central Laboratories Department, Sheikha Alia Rashid Al Mualla, and Ms. Asma Saeed Al Suwaidi, Head of the Environmental and Consumer Products Laboratory Department.

The purpose of the visit was exchanging experiences and knowledge in the field of laboratory technical, and the use of modern technologies in developing mechanisms of governmental work and police work.

The delegation toured the new forensic laboratory building, to get acquainted with its tasks and competencies, and its important achievements, in addition to the innovative means in examining forensic evidence.

The delegation was also briefed on the latest technologies used in forensic laboratories and their role delivering best results in short time.
