SP receives "Smart Glove" project from HCT Students

Sharjah 24: Colonel Tariq Al Midfa, Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department at Sharjah Police, in the presence of Major Abdul Rahim Al Hammadi, Head of Innovation and Future Foresight Department, and Major Salem Al Mazrouei, Director of the Anti-Narcotics Branch at the Punishment and Correctional Institution Department in Sharjah, received the "Smart Glove Project" to facilitate the inspection process using modern technologies and Artificial Intelligence. The project was created by (10) female students from the Higher Colleges of Technology in Sharjah.
The "Smart Glove" project came as part of the "Innovative Researcher Initiative" launched by the Sharjah Police Research Centre for institutions of higher education in the emirate last year. It aims to facilitate the inspection process and reduce penetrations in security areas. 

Colonel Tariq Al Midfa commended the efforts made by the female students, and their contribution to maintaining security and enhancing the quality of life in the community, praising the role of the administrative and educational staff at the Higher Colleges of Technology for female students in Sharjah for their effective contribution to enabling the female students to successfully complete the work, wishing them continued success.

For their part, the female students of higher technology in Sharjah expressed their thanks to the Sharjah Police for providing the opportunity and opening the door for them to participate, and to go through this experience in the "Innovative Researcher Initiative.
