She stated that the global reputation that the SIARA has achieved is reflected in the 177 nominations for the sixth edition, noting that the award focuses on supporting the efforts of local organisations that work directly to help refugees.
Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24”, Al Hammadi added that the award gives the winners moral motivation and financial aid to enable them to reach the largest possible segment of refugees, and help them complete their journey.
