Sharjah24: Sharjah Social Services Department organises annually a workshop to protect children from violence, through which it attracts institutions, individuals and protection specialists with the aim of raising the level of services provided to children exposed to violence, exchanging knowledge and standing up to the latest developments in child protection, in addition to getting acquainted with the latest child protection services, programmes and applications, and discussing visions and theses that It would ensure the protection of children and secure all their rights in all circumstances and times.
In exclusive statements to “Sharjah 24”, Amina Al-Rifai, Director of the Child and Family Protection Center in Sharjah, indicated that the "Stop Violence" workshop, which is organised annually by the Social Services Department, included many topics.
The Director of the Child and Family Protection Center stated that the department's child helpline 800700 has received 10,000 reports since its establishment until today. At the conclusion of her speech, Al Rifai thanked and appreciated all the organisers and participants in this valuable workshop, stressing that child protection is everyone's responsibility.
