Sharjah 24: Sharjah Cooperative Society hosted a delegation from the Federation of International Cooperative Societies (FICS), which included representatives from Belgium, Turkey, France, and Asian countries, with the goal of maximising the exchange of experiences and learning about the cooperative's best practices and services in the retail industry.
The purpose of the visit, which is in line with the plans and goals of the Sharjah Cooperative Society, is to strengthen cooperation and strategic partnerships.
The society’s department directors and officials received the visiting delegation.
The delegation's visit, according to Majid Salem Al Jenaid, CEO of Sharjah Cooperative Society, reflects the effectiveness of cooperative work in the Emirate of Sharjah at the regional and global levels, and contributes to expanding prospects of cooperation and exchange of experiences with various countries around the world.
During the visit, a tour of the Rahmania Mall was set up for the delegation so that they could learn more about the mall and how it works, as well as see some projects.
Members of the Federation of International Cooperative Societies delegation expressed their delight at visiting the Sharjah Cooperative Society, emphasising the importance of the tour in learning about the work and retail culture in the Emirate of Sharjah, as well as reviewing the processes that promote collaboration and the sharing of experiences across global cooperatives.
