UAEBBY narrates impact of books on refugee children lives

Sharjah24: UAE Board on Book for Young People (UAEBBY) continues its participation in the 31st edition of Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF), with a pavilion inspired by refugee tents, and a design that reflects the noble values of the "Once Upon a Time" initiative, implemented by UAEBBY for the eighth year in a row, with the aim of collecting books issued in multiple languages from the local community and distributing them to children and adolescents in crisis areas around the world.
Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, International Publishers Association (IPA) President, Founder and Honourary President of UAEBBY; Dr. Ali bin Tamim, President of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center;  and Saeed Hamdan Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, Director of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, were briefed on the most prominent exhibits of the pavilion, and listened to an explanation from Marwa Al Aqroubi, President of UAEBBY, about the “Once Upon a Time” initiative and the most important projects and initiatives that the UAEBBY is working on. 
The UAEBBY 's pavilion at the exhibition highlights the most important achievements of the "Once Upon a Time" initiative since its inception, with audio and video, through screens that focus on the groups that the initiative has succeeded in delivering books to among the residents of refugee camps, in addition to introducing the silent books and the UAEBBY 's role in promoting them in the country and the region. 
As part of its participation program in the exhibition running until May 29 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, UAEBBYP is organizing a number of workshops in its pavilion No. F5 in Hall 11.
