Sharjah 24: Shanda McCloskey, an American best-selling children's author participating at the 13th Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF), commented in an interview with "Sharjah 24" that she was awed by the festival's beauty and how wonderful it was to see children from all over the world come together to read and participate in activities.

She thanked Sharjah for giving her the opportunity to meet writers from around the world after the epidemic had calmed down and to be able to speak to children and teachers and participate in activities with youngsters in an event that hosts education and creativity.
