Sharjah 24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, said on mourning the late President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan: “The United Arab Emirates and the Arab and Islamic nations have lost an outstanding leader, a wise man, and a generous person with high morals, and dedication to his country, his religion, his nation and the whole world.

The late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan devoted his life to work on the advancement of his country, in the service of humanity, and in charitable work in all parts of the world.

With the passing away of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, hearts ache and eyes shed tears, and everyone feels the grief and sorrow over the passing of a loving father to everyone. He was a support for his father, late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in building the country, and his successor in the continuous work to care for and advance the UAE and its people.

May Allah the Almighty have mercy on Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, grant him ease and respite, award him Paradise along with the martyrs and the righteous, and grant us, his family and the people of the UAE patience and solace."
