Sharjah24: Stemming from its social responsibility to spread values of goodness and giving during the holy month of Ramadan, Sharjah Asset Management employees and the Community Police Department distributed 500 Iftar meals to drivers in the streets and intersections in the Emirate of Sharjah to reduce traffic accidents and educate drivers to avoid negative behaviors often displayed before the Maghrib prayer.
This initiative is one of many initiatives undertaken by Sharjah Asset Management throughout the year, aligning with its social responsibility objectives and its role in deepening the principle of social solidarity and human values among institutions and society. The initiatives reflect the importance of giving and benevolence as laid down by the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul and strengthened by wise leadership and all residents of the UAE.
Saeed Sharar, Chief Operating Officer - Osool Services at Sharjah Asset Management, confirmed that distributing Iftar meals is one of the annual initiatives and events that Sharjah Asset Management is keen to organize during the holy month of Ramadan, he said: “Improving the lives of the community is an integral part of our mission and corporate social responsibility strategy. We were pleased to partner with Sharjah Police Headquarters to consolidate the meaning of giving and the values of solidarity in the holy month with the distribution of meals.
