Sharjah24: The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) distributed 359 boxes of sweets to benefit 980 orphans as part of the "Eid Candy" project, which is one of the projects of the Ramadan campaign "Zak" launched by the Foundation during the holy month.
The Foundation distributed Eid sweets to the families of orphans in order to bring joy and pleasure to the hearts of orphans in preparation for Eid Al Fitr. Community members participated with the Foundation in supporting the project through their initiative to provide Eid sweets through the "Soughh Ramadan" project, which gives everyone the opportunity to contribute to all campaign projects.
Nawal Al-Hamdi, Director of Social Welfare Department, said: "Through its Ramadan campaign "Zak", the Foundation sought to involve all segments of society and government and private institutions to activate their important societal role towards orphans during the month of Ramadan through the various projects presented in the month of Ramadan. "Eid Candy" to share families' joy and strengthen community partnership to support families in seasonal events and holidays.
