Sharjah24: The Shabab Al-Ahly team was crowned the champion of the Youth category, and the "King" team won the title of the youth category in the Wasit Ramadan Youth Futsal Championship 2022, which was held as part of the "Ramadan Rubu Qarn" activities organized by the Sharjah Youth of the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators.
11 teams with a total of 150 players aged 13-18 participated in the tournament, Al-Ahly youth team ranked first in the junior category after defeating the Black team by a clean double, while the King’s team dominated the final match for the youth category, which brought it together with Wasit team.
Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Yasi, Director of Sharjah Youth, and Jassim Juma Al Balushi, member of the Sharjah Consultative Council, honored the winning teams in the first places and holders of individual titles, as Hamad Sulaiman won the Best Player Award for the Junior category and Hassan Younis won the Youth category, and Yousef Al Ansari won the Junior category and Ali Al Shaibani won the youth category, the tournament’s top scorer award, while the best goalkeeper award was won by Mohamed Ahmed and Mohamed Ghulam.
The conclusion included honoring the winners of the water polo championship, in which 45 players participated, and the results of which resulted in the Wasit junior team (A) winning the first place, the Hema team coming in second place, and the third place going to the Wasit junior team (B).
