Sharjah24: Sharjah’s Souq Al Jubail, the largest fresh produce market in the United Arab Emirates and one of the projects of Sharjah Asset Management, the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah, provides its visitors, citizens, and residents, throughout the holy month of Ramadan with an exceptional shopping experience. In addition, the market offers an extensive range of fresh products and food supplies under one roof, with dedicated vegetables, fruits, fish, and meat sections.
Souq Al Jubail is the most important outlet for consumer products in the country:
Talal Muhammad, Director - Souq Al Jubail, said: "We congratulate everyone on the blessed month of Ramadan and confirm that we are keen, through Souq Al Jubail, to provide all the needs of market-goers. There has been a great turnout during the blessed month and throughout the year, as the quality services and world-class facilities attract visitors. Market visitors always express high satisfaction with their needs being met to the highest standards. Souq Al Jubail offers a unique shopping experience and is one of the important outlets for the sale of food products in the country."

Talal Muhammad added, "We always strive to provide the best services that market visitors need during Ramadan. We have contracted with suppliers to provide enough basic consumer food commodities to meet the needs of the community and the requirements of shoppers. This will save time throughout the month and allows shoppers to avail of all products under one roof, which reduces the burden of shopping, and at the same time provides the best products at reasonable prices." 

Fish section:
For his part, Humaid Al Aleeli, Director of Hospitality Sector at Sharjah Asset Management, said: "Throughout Ramadan, the market will provide visitors with various types of local fish such as "Siganus rivulatus, Lethrinus, Narrow-barred Spanish mackerel, Chirocentrus, Jash” and others in addition to imported fish, most notably supreme, salmon, seabass and others. It also provides them with additional services such as the option to grill, clean and cut fish to meet the demands of market customers."

Restaurant 1441:
Al-Aleeli added: “Souq Al Jubail 1441 Restaurant and Café, which specializes in seafood, welcomes visitors to try a varied and rich tasting experience with seafood cooked by the most skilled chefs.  Flavours combine authentic Emirati cuisine with contemporary fish dishes including Arab and Asian dishes to offer visitors a new experience and quality time with their families during the blessed month.”

Al Aleeli pointed out the strategic location where the restaurant is located on the first floor of Souq Al Jubail, which offers a stunning view of Sharjah Creek and the charming Islamic architectural style of the government buildings.

Fruit and vegetable section:
The market provides visitors with a range of reasonably priced local and imported vegetables and fruits from many countries, such as the Netherlands, Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan, Libya, East Asia, Uzbekistan, Pakistan and India, in addition to food supplies in all its sections, at competitive prices.

Provides delivery service:
The market provides a delivery service for all types of meat, poultry, fish, vegetables and fresh fruits through the “WhatsApp” application and the call centre for Souq Al Jubail. Delivery service is available to various emirates, cities and regions of the country at competitive prices to meet the needs of the largest possible segment of the public. Two options are available, the express service offers same-day delivery, and the scheduled service provides delivery within 2-3 days. The market management ensures the total commitment of all workers to preventive measures to ensure the safety and health of the public, citizens and residents and to provide services according to the highest quality standards.

Souq Al Jubail and fish section opening hours during the holy month:
The market welcomes visitors during the holy month of Ramadan daily from 8 am to 10 pm, taking into account the daily Iftar break from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
The fish section is also open from 8 am to 10 pm, considering the daily Iftar break from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
Souq Al Jubail includes more than 250 products distributed in 3 sections, all of which contain 260 shops:
The vegetables and fruits area consists of 160 shops, including 40 for dates.
The meat section includes 60 shops.
The fresh fish section contains 30 shops, three shops selling honey and others selling nuts.

Various services and other facilities are available, such as the "Etisalat" platform, ATMs, and others.
