Sharjah24: The Sharjah Education Council (SEC) signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation with the Regional Center for Early Childhood Development in Syria to coordinate efforts towards providing best practices in the field of early childhood care, education and rehabilitation.
The memorandum provided for exchanging experiences and seeking to develop and support frameworks of mutual understanding in the mechanisms of the comprehensive educational process of the two parties and to strengthen joint cooperation relations to enhance the existing strategic partnerships between the two parties.
The signing of the memorandum was attended by His Excellency Dr. Saeed Musabah Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Sharjah Education Council, which was signed on behalf of the Sharjah Education Council by Mohammed Ahmed Al Mulla, Secretary General of the Council, and Dr. Kifah Al-Haddad in her capacity as Director of the Regional Center for Early Childhood Development
According to the memorandum approved by the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, it will work to upgrade the educational system for both parties, while ensuring the sustainability of early care and education, as well as the integration of joint efforts within the framework of cooperation between the two parties in several fields, exchanging experiences and developing knowledge and skills in the areas of early care.
The memorandum will also work to strengthen strategic partnerships in the academic, scientific, research, training and development fields, as well as coordination and cooperation to prepare joint regional plans in the field of early childhood and education, in addition to exchanging information and experiences in all fields and coordinating common areas of work.
His Excellency Dr. Saeed Musabah Al Kaabi, Chairman of SEC, stressed the importance of this memorandum and its role in supporting the council’s work in relation to its policies and programs in the field of early childhood care, with a specialized body, the Regional Center for Early Childhood Development in the Syria.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Ahmed Al Mulla, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Education Council, indicated that this memorandum comes as a continuation of the council's plans to strengthen its partnerships with the relevant authorities, especially those of international importance, and to exchange experiences from them to achieve benefit from them.
