Sharjah 24: As part of its sports activities during the holy month of Ramadan, the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) announced the organisation of the “Sharjah Charity Run” on Sunday evening, April 10, 2022.
The proceeds will go to the Big Heart Foundation in cooperation with the Sharjah Directorarte of Islamic Affairs, and ‘Al Qudra Sports’, along with the coordination of a number of institutions and authorities in the Emirate.
The event targets the participation of 500 of different age groups, by registering via the link: http://www.eevents.ae/shjcr, registration will close on Friday, April 8, 2022. The event encourages exercise and maintaining health.
On this occasion, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), stated that this event is part of the SSC’s charitable initiatives in the holy month to encourage a culture of exercise and make it a way of life, which practically translates the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, and is implemented under the supervision of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council.
