Sharjah24: Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah (UoS), stressed that the university's students are the focus of the educational process. They represent the main essential link in which all administrative and academic efforts are integrated to provide the appropriate environment for them to study and excel in various disciplines.
His statements were made during his meeting with the student councils, heads of scientific societies, and cultural clubs, on Sunday evening, at the University of Sharjah.
Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed pointed to the importance of student activities and their impact on the development of students' levels. He praised the efforts of student clubs and societies as an essential link between the administration and the student community, which contribute to developing the student's personality and refining it in many social aspects, culture, and others.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Hamid Majul Al Nuaimi, Chancellor of the UoS, received Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed, stressing the importance of such meetings in communication between the administration and students, learning more about the various suggestions made by students in multiple fields.
During the meeting, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed listened to several proposals submitted by the students, including administrative and scientific matters. He also engaged in discussions with the attendees, including professors and students, about many constructive ideas presented by the students.
The President of the University toured the Meteorites Exhibition, getting briefed on the exhibition's contents, including astronomical and space exhibits and the various sections of the center and research laboratories.

At the end of the meeting, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed took memorial photos with the heads of councils, student clubs, and scientific clubs at the university.
