Al Kharous Council highlights the history of its region

Sharjah24: Dr. Rashid Al-Marzoi presented a lecture in Al Kharous Suburb Council to shed light on the history of the Al-Kharous district and its neighboring areas.
The lecture is organised within a number of programs that the council was keen to organize based on its social role, as well as an explanation of the history of the region and the origins of its names. 

The lecture was attended by His Excellency Juma Abdullah Al-Mughni, Chairman of the Council and the members of the Council, in addition to His Excellency Obaid Al-Qabed Al-Tunaiji, member of the Advisory Council, His Excellency Ahmed Abdullah Al-Darmaki, Member of the Dibba Al-Hisn Municipal Council, His Excellency Saeed Balaith Al-Tunaiji, Executive Director of the Parents’ Council in the Central Region, and His Excellency Eng. Khalifa Mohammed Al-Tunaiji, Director of the Central Region Department Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority. 

Dr. Saeed Al-Aqeed Al-Naqbi presented a number of themes that the lecturer will address and their importance in contributing to introducing the people of the region to Al-Kharous, Al-Dhaid and all the neighboring areas.

Dr. Rashid Ahmed Al Mazrouei knew the history of the central region and all its regions, referring to its inherited names and its relationship to various sites and events, including the name of Al-Kharous, in reference to the valley where the caravans go on their way to supply water and the destination of the Bedouins to live because of the abundance of water in it, pointing out the importance of publishing the history of the region. 

In turn, Juma'a Abdullah Al-Mughni Al-Hamoudi, head of the Al-Kharous Suburb Council, confirmed that this lecture is a continuation of the Yeltsna initiative through the cultural and historical aspect of the region and the people's knowledge of the nature of the region .
