Sharjah 24: Sheikh Majid bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Director of Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department (SDVAD), and His Excellency Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amir, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, witnessed the Coaching Forum orgamed by Sharjah Police over the days (8-9) March, at the Fazaa Pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai.
The launch of the forum was attended by the delegation of the International Coaching Federation, Brigadier General Ahmed Haji Al Sarkal, Director General of Police Operations, Brigadier General Arif Al Sharif, Director General of Resources and Support Services at Sharjah Police, Brigadier General Dr. Mohammed Al Athmni, Director General of Sharjah Police Science Academy, a number of directors of departments, and Sharjah Police officers.
In his welcoming speech, His Excellency Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amir stressed that the UAE Ministry of Interior is the beacon of progress, exclusivity and leadership in all areas entrusted to it. His Excellency added that challenges come in proportion to the ambition of the UAE in general and the Ministry of Interior in particular, which always aspire to positions of leadership in various fields.
In his speech to the forum, His Excellency the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police indicated that the challenges are many, and that the Sharjah Police has worked to create constructive opportunities and inspiring ideas, in facing all challenges, through a distinguished team that seeks to achieve leadership in various sectors of police and community work. Through this forum, Sharjah Police works on changing ideas, developing capabilities, and adopting these practices as a method of work.
His Excellency the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police indicated that the practices of transferring knowledge between employees have been developed, as the Sharjah Police has adopted new practices through the coaching programme, which works to develop capabilities through scientific steps that call for self-development and through distinguished coaches who completed the coaching programme.
The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police thanked the International Coaching Federation and the coaching team in Sharjah Police for the distinguished role they play, hoping that what is provided will benefit everyone, and that this development will extend to all sectors, including institutions and individuals.
The forum witnessed the screening of a documentary film that monitors the journey of the Sharjah Police, in implementing the culture of coaching. At the end of the forum, Sheikh Majid bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, accompanied by His Excellency Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amir, presented a shield to the International Coaching Federation.
