"The UAE has invested in its human capital, and was a pioneer in adopting the principle of equal opportunity through an integrated system of legislation and laws enacted by the country, which ensured the consolidation of social justice principles, resulting in the participation of women in all areas of development locally, regionally, and globally," Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi added.
"The Emirati experience's success in empowering women had major implications not just for women, but also for society as a whole," he continued, "since the holistic growth that pervades society can only be realised with the involvement of all its members without exception."
