AFIEC discusses strategic work plans for 2022

This came when His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Federation for International Exhibitions and Conferences, member of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah and CEO of the Sharjah Expo Center, recently received at the Sharjah Expo Center His Excellency Mahmoud Yousef Al Jarrah, Secretary-General of the Arab Federation for International Exhibitions and Conferences, where the two sides discussed the developments related to the advancement of the exhibition and conference industry in the Arab countries, increasing its contribution to supporting the national economy in various Arab countries, and deepening its role in marketing the Arab product to global markets.

His Excellency Al Midfa pointed to the need to coordinate with the rest of the Arab countries that are affiliated with the Arab Federation for Exhibitions and Conferences, and to encourage them to join the union in order to enhance its capabilities in achieving its goals of developing economic cooperation and increasing trade exchange between Arab countries through the development of the industry of organising international exhibitions and conferences in Arab countries.

For his part, His Excellency Mahmoud Youssef Al-Jarrah expressed his happiness for the warm reception, pointing out that this meeting comes within the framework of the continuous keenness to strengthen the position of the Arab Federation for Exhibitions and Conferences as a joint integrative economic platform, by continuing efforts to organise specialised exhibitions in all Arab member countries under the sponsorship of the Federation and his support, calling on all governmental and private companies, bodies and institutions working in this field to join the federation to enhance professional expertise.
