Sharjah 24: The Cultural and Community Development Committee at Al Dhaid Sports Club developed plans for the year 2022, which are consistent with the objectives of the Sharjah Sports Council in paying attention to sports culture and promoting community communication in all programmes and events that aim to build bridges of communication with community members.
The programmes, approved by the committee, will aim to provide a cultural environment that raises athletic and cultural aspects of youth, nurture their talents, help them invest their spare time, develop their cognitive abilities, and instill loyalty, belonging, and a spirit of participation towards serving the nation.
The Cultural and Community Development Committee held a meeting at the club's headquarters, and the meeting was headed by Khalifa Mubarak bin Dalmouk and in the presence of Salem Al Jari, Executive Director and Dr. Hammoud Al Anzi, professional advisor in the club, in addition to members of the committee.
The committee tackled the implementation of cultural and community activities in the club, discussing developments and coordinating to participate in the Sharjah Heritage Days, as well as offering lectures, awareness programmes and volunteer activities that enhance the strategy of Al Dhaid Club programmes and plans during 2022.
Khalifa Mubarak bin Dalmouk, a member of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Club and Chairman of the Cultural and Community Development Committee, extended his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council for their support in enriching the implemented programmes that aim at enabling clubs to work to achieve their aspirations in light of the return from the repercussions of Corona.
Khalifa Mubarak bin Dalmouk explained that Al Dhaid Club achieved a distinct equation in the activities carried out throughout the Corona pandemic and attracted hundreds of participants in its activities inside and outside the UAE to continue with a number of events that enhance the position of Al Dhaid Club in the cultural sectors as well as in the community and voluntary aspects.
