Khalid bin Ahmed: Sharjah e-Government wins best work environment

Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Qasimi stated in an exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24" that this award is an exceptional achievement especially in light of the current health situation that the region and the world are going through, especially in light of the "Covid-19" pandemic.

He stressed that the award reflects the standards and strategies followed in the department, to achieve the vision of the wise leadership in the Emirate of Sharjah under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the directives of Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; to reach professional and administrative excellence, empower qualified cadres and enhance their effectiveness.

The Director General of the Department of e-Government indicated that the “Best Work Environment” award is an award granted by the Great Place to Work Foundation to entities that contribute to providing the highest standards of performance and achieving the quality and culture of the work environment, and is based on a comprehensive and independent analysis conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute®️. In the UAE, this award is based on direct feedback from employees, which is submitted as part of a comprehensive anonymous survey of respondents about their workplace experience.

He added that the classification of the Sharjah e-Government Department among the list of the 45 best workplaces in the United Arab Emirates; A merit that proudly affirms that the department has made the concept of happiness and providing the best work environment a basic and important principle in all its initiatives, plans and projects, which contributes significantly to enhancing positivity, raising levels of efficiency among employees, developing their skills and motivating them to provide the best.
