Sharjah 24: The Department of Municipal Affairs, Agriculture and Livestock Affairs (DMAAL) hosted the 2nd Municipal Forum on Wednesday at the Cloud Lounge in Khorfakkan, with the objective of enhancing cooperation and concerted efforts and laying the groundwork for developing joint relations to serve the Emirate of Sharjah and provide highly competitive services.
Dr Khalifa Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Municipal Affairs, Agriculture, and Livestock Department, told Sharjah 24 that the forum's objective is to assess the previous year's accomplishments and to share ideas and development suggestions that support the roadmap and action plans for the next year.
He said that on the side-lines of the conference, a proposal for the unification and growth of municipal services in the engineering and construction sectors in the emirate's various municipalities was examined and authorized by the Emirate of Sharjah's Executive Council on Tuesday.
Al Tunaiji continued, "By the end of February, the initiative will be completely operating via the Sharjah digital platform."
