SSEF launches the five-year strategy

Sharjah 24: In the presence of Sheikha Jameela bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director General of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS), Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) (Al Tamkeen) announced the launch of the five-year strategic plan for the coming years (2022-2026), stemming from the humanitarian vision and the supportive directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah aiming at developing work and serving all Sharjah segments, including orphans and their families.
The plan comes in line with the UAE Vision 2021 and consistent with the ten principles of the United Arab Emirates for the next fifty years, to achieve sustainable development goals and to reach the highest levels of efficiency implementing projects aimed at creating a future in which orphans and their families enjoy prosperity and dignity.

Sheikha Jameela bint Mohammed Al Qasimi expressed her pride in seeing the new strategy and congratulated SSEF efforts and hard work to serve the families of orphans, in line with the objectives inspired by the wise leadership vision, and the sound directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah in caring for people in the first place and caring for an important group in the society, namely orphans.

 Her Excellency Mona bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director General of SSEF, said that the Foundation was keen to prepare a strategic plan for the next five years, to build an innovative vision represented in the “leadership to sustainably empower orphans and their families” to implement the aspirations of the Foundation in achieving comprehensive sustainability for orphans and their families.

 Her Excellency Mona bin Hadda Al Suwaidi explained that there are 6 main objectives of the new strategy, namely, strengthening and building the capacities of beneficiaries, innovation in designing and providing services, building effective partnerships, and developing an institutional identity that contributes to creating a supportive environment for beneficiaries, developing institutional capacities and systems, diversifying and sustaining sources of finance, as well as the institution’s pursuit of digital transformation to keep pace with technical development and ease of access to the services provided.
 
It is worth noting that the Foundation has also provided financial aid during the past five years, estimated at nearly 20 million dirhams, to needy families, aiming to support the orphans families providing them with a decent life.
