Sharjah 24: His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police (SP), stated on Arab Police Day, which is observed on December 18 each year: "Since the inception of the UAE, security has been a critical component of a comprehensive development and an integral part of the pioneering progress."
His Excellency added that the UAE police have been able to rise to the national responsibilities to maintain security, and according to Gallup's Global Law and Order 2021 report, the UAE is the safest country in the world for inhabitants to walk alone at night.
His Excellency congratulated the police officers in the UAE and the other Arab countries, wishing them ongoing success and advancement in their national and societal duty.
