CBUAE celebrates golden jubilee of SCCI with commemorative coins

Sharjah 24: The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE) issued commemorative coins of gold and silver, on the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI).
The issuance of commemorative coins comes to celebrate the achievements and successes of the SCCI during the past fifty years.

The CBUAE issued 100 gold coins and 1,000 silver coins, each weighing 40 grams. The front side includes a drawing of the SCCI building, in addition to its name in both Arabic and English. The back side of the coin includes the name of the SCCI and the name the CBUAE in both Arabic and English, along with the writing of the golden jubilee, the number "50" and the years 1970 - 2020.

SCCI is an independent entity that has accomplished many achievements and goals in regulating commercial, industrial and professional affairs in the Emirate, and is working to facilitate the prosperity of Sharjah's business sectors and enhance their capabilities, through coordination with the economically concerned authorities, using best practices.

All the presented coins have been handed over to the SCCI, and will not be available for sale at the headquarters of the CBUAE and its branches.
