SPEA meets with delegation from Umm Al Quwain Executive Council

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) held a meeting with a delegation from the Executive Council of Umm Al Quwain, aiming at enhancing prospects for joint cooperation between both sides, benefiting from SPEA’s experience, and reviewing the distance education experience, during which SPEA contributed to the development of work and enhanced its ability to anticipate challenges and develop appropriate solutions.
The visiting delegation was received by Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), Ali Al Hosani, Director of SPEA, and a number of directors and heads of departments in SPEA.
 
Mohammed Suroor Al Naqbi, Director of Government Performance and Excellence, headed the delegation, which included Fatima bin Suef, Director of the Legal Affairs Department, Aisha Al Ghass, Project Coordinator, Fatima Al Zarouni, Senior Project Coordinator, and Bassam Mahmoud, a training expert.
 
During the meeting, SPEA reviewed its law of establishment, vision and mission, in addition to its organisational structure, and the most prominent projects and programmes that it has accomplished during the past three years.
 
The meeting also reviewed SPEA’s experience in the field of empowering the educational community, developing the educational work system, and mechanisms for providing services to students, schools and parents, in addition to addressing the role of the three main axes in supporting educational work at home, school and classroom.
 
The attendees discussed the challenges accompanying the educational systems, the role of the concerned authorities in finding the necessary solutions for the challenges imposed by Covid 19 pandemic, and SPEA’s search for appropriate solutions and switching to distance education quickly and easily.
 
Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashimi stressed the importance of the meetings to share experiences with various authorities and institutions, noting that SPEA is keen to share its experience to strengthen educational work tools, and to develop the comprehensive educational system in the country.
 
She added that SPEA operates according to several mechanisms, through which it brings together the various parties in the educational field, and enhances the participation of the school principals, parents, as well as educational and technical staff and students.
