Sharjah 24: Al Bataeh Cultural and Sports Club hosted a sports evening to commemorate the United Arab Emirates' fiftieth anniversary.

The evening began with a speech from Dr Imad Mukhtar, the club's executive director, in which he congratulated the Emirati people and all residents of the United Arab Emirates, wished for continued progress and prosperity for the country, its leadership, and people, and conveyed greetings from the club's Chairman, the Sharjah Municipality's Director General, the club's Secretary General, and all Board of Directors.

The club's first football team manager, as well as other officials, coaches, and personnel, joined the celebration.

A match between the technical staff and other staff members was held, followed by a mini-tournament between the futsal team's players, and the tournament winners received awards and prizes at the conclusion of the event.
