Sharjah24: The Sociological Association organised the press conference, being held on Monday at the Cultural Palace in Sharjah to announce the details of the first international conference "Sports to confront antisocial behaviours", aiming to encourage young people to benefit from sports.
Commenting on this, Dr. Jassim Khalil Mirza, Chairman of the Sociologists Association, has highlighted the significance of the conference in combating anti-social behaviours among young people; improving their sense of responsibility; and preventing them from bad behaviours that violate social norms, stressing that the conference will include 13 sessions with 35 research and study, being held over three days, starting from November 21 to 23.
In an exclusive statement to "Sharjah 24," He added that the conference will contain 8 organising committees, 17 participating entities, 62 speakers, 50 volunteer opportunities, 44 working papers and two training workshops, attracting several prominent figures, aiming to promote the sporting role at the level of the Emirate of Sharjah.
