SMC’s delegation visits Holy Quran Academy

Sharjah 24: A delegation from Sharjah's Municipal Council (SMC), led by the council's Chairman Salem bin Ali Al Muhairi, paid a visit to the Holy Quran Academy Sunday.
Al-Muhairi lauded the Academy and the Qur'ans, manuscripts, and historical parchments it houses.

The team was briefed on the phases of writing the Holy Qur'an, its most renowned transcribers throughout history, and the most illustrious reciters in the Islamic world during the tour, and expressed its gratitude to His Highness  Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who has established this outstanding monument and gifted it with rare treasures.

Dr Eng. Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Sharjah Holy Qur'an Academy, expressed his appreciation for the delegation’s visit, explaining the Academy's role and noble message, and he lauded the efforts of His Highness the ruler of Sharjah, who bestowed the city of Sharjah with this magnificent scientific and religious monument.

Sheikh Sherzad Abdul Rahman Taher, Secretary General of the Academy, briefed the delegation about the Council, its divisions, and its efforts.
