Huda Al Yasi, Director of Financial System Department in SFD stated that the Department is keen to organise this forum constantly. The forum discussed topics to improve financial performance and enhance financial procedures efficiency in government entities.
Al Yasi indicated that the discussions at the forum were full of innovative proposals, initiatives and ideas that would translate the wise visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in walking the path to being a major financial department known to the world.
The forum discussed the secure communication project through virtual applications to provide a safe work environment for systems and applications. the Department seeks to activate a system that contributes to safe access to programmes and systems affiliated to the department by other government agencies.
In the end, the Department discussed the Financial Performance Excellence Awards (FPEA), which aims to promote the optimal investment of financial and human resources in Sharjah.
Through this Award, Sharjah Government seeks to improve government institutional performance and to honour prominent institutions and individuals in the financial field, appreciating their efforts.
