Sharjah 24: Al-Kharous of Dibba Al Hisn city is developing, with over 300 occupied homes. According to Al Kharous Suburb Council Head, Juma Abdullah Al Mughni, the region would eventually accommodate 5,000 plots of land and now it has a public park, a mobile police station, and many mosques.
He lauded the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to establish the Al Kharous Council, which is affiliated with the District and Village Affairs Departments.
Al Mughni highlighted the council's efforts in identifying the region's needs for services, including civilised service and entertainment facilities, and coordinating with relevant authorities to ensure the region's residents' comfort and happiness.
Al Mughni reaffirmed the council's commitment to undertaking research and delivering basic services in conjunction with Sharjah's relevant departments, such as educational, health, and security, retail markets, and lighting services.
